Suriname: Forest Guardian + Food Producer
Suriname is uniquely positioned in the Caribbean food network. With the most forest of any nation, it generates REDD+ carbon revenue while activating coastal grassland for food production. Surplus food enters the Caribbean redistribution network to feed island nations with high import dependency.
